The Board of Investments and the Embassy
of Japan conducted the "DTI eServices Forum: Phil-Japan Initiatives
in ICT " on August 27, 2004 at the Dusit Hotel Nikko in Makati
City, Philippines. |

At this forum, Mr. Futoshi Hattori, the Executive Vice President of
KELPHIL, INC. and Mr. Shotaro Naganuma, the Vice President of KELPHIL,
INC. presented the success of 3DCG seminar which KELPHIL conducted
in July 2004. KELPHIL’s presentation which included the actual 3DCG works created by the seminar participants received high level
of interest among the audience mostly from the government and ICT
industry sector experts.

The said forum aimed to create awareness on the initiatives and on-going
projects of the government and various Japanese organizations in the
field of ICT. CEO’s and technical experts from more than 100
companies in the target sectors attended the event. Other participants
include Japanese officials/delegates from the embassy, chamber of
commerce and Japan-based corporations; representatives from Commission
on Information and Communication Technology (CICT), DTI Regional Offices,
other government agencies, and the academe. |
